Nigerian Dwarf Goats

“The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.” Proverbs 27:26

Our herd of ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats are raised on pasture year round. By moving the goats to a fresh forage spot daily during the peak season (and not returning them to that spot for 45-60 days), and weekly when the grasses are in senescence, our goats are not likely to develop a high parasite load. They have access to forbs, legumes, and grasses, while being supplemented with minimal inputs: A daily ration of a custom mineral blend, kelp, and a small snack of orchard grass, whole oats, and mixed grain.

Though we are not currently selling milk from our herd, that is a goal of ours for the future. We do have goats available periodically, including wethered bucklings, doelings, and the occasional adult doe. Our focus is to raise well adapted, high butterfat milk producing livestock while giving special attention to dairy conformation.
